Beware of Christians

An email about what looks to be an interesting film by some Evangelical Protestants, Beware of Christians, was sent to me today. I find it interesting for several reasons:
  1. I think movies that explore different aspects of culture and how it influences Christianity can be profound.
  2. I like to watch trends in Evangelical circles, including the emerging church movement, the spiritual but not religious sentiments, etc. This film looks to have some of these influences by the looks of the trailer.
  3. Our Evangelical Protestant brothers and sisters have some insights into faith that we need to listen to.
  4. Lastly, I am interested because several Aggies were involved in this film, including two of the four who star in it.
You can check out the trailer below. Here is their website.

Idk. Looks like a bunch of guys running around trying to find consensus or input from other people living in this same era. I would suggest historical investigation. That is typically the best way to expose your own biases & pre-conceived notions. They don't need to travel the world, they need to travel in time. It's cheaper, too.
