Prayer Requests

1 - For George Weigel's son-in-law, Robert Charles Susil, M.D., Ph.D., who died this past weekend. At 35 he was a husband and father. Please pray for his wife, son, family, and friends.

2 - For a young boy in Italy and his family.  This is from Sr. Celestina:
I'm writing to you in order to ask prayers for a little Italian boy. His name is Federico, and he is 10 years old. A dear friend of mine, from Italy, let me know that Federico (who is the son of close friends of his), has just been diagnosed with meningitis. The doctors don't really know if he will make it. And if he does survive, they can't say if the damages will be permanent.

Mariagrazia and Roberto, Federico's parents, are overwhelmed with sorrow. The meningitis is already affecting the hearing, the sight, the mobility, the speaking... It is painful for them to look at him without being able to do something for him. My friend told me that they trust in our payers, so I thought of emailing you all. We ask for the recovery of Federico, and for a lot of peace and strength for his family.
3 - For the people of Haiti and other places of poverty, natural disaster, war, oppression, and famine.

4 - For those looking for jobs.

5 - For those serving in the armed services and their families.

6 - For our students and their struggles.
Mother Mary, we know that you will pray with us if we ask.  We implore your intercession for these prayers and all the needs we have that are unspoken.  Pray with us and for us our Most Immaculate Mother.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.
