As Catholics, should we believe that intelligent life exists on another planet? I know it is beyond human comprehension, but can you fathom a guess as to why God would create such a vastness and have all these galaxies? What purpose do they serve if they do not hold any life forms?
It isn't contrary to Catholic sensibilities to believe that there are other beings on other planets. But, neither is it required to think that there are.Just remember that if all the vastness of all of the planets and galaxies were added up - they still wouldn't equal the worth of one human life.
