Very Interesting

Some items I found very interesting.

**States that have more people self-identified as pro-life have fewer abortions. Makes sense, but good to see the data back it up.

**Notre Dame Alums disenfranchised by their University are starting to organize a response to the problems they believe rest with the leadership at ND.

**A Vatican II expert, and one of my favorite grad school profs - Douglas Bushman, has a wonderful essay on the reforms of Vatican II. I highly recommend a careful reading.

**It seems that two bishops, the Vatican newspaper, and some others are butting heads about what should and should not be printed in L'Osservatore Romano.

**Research shows that school vouchers work.

**President Obama seems willing to consider talking with known terrorist group Hamas. Interesting shift in policy, to say the least.

**A Long Island store-owner not only let a bat-wielding robber go, but gave him $40 and a loaf of bread after he dropped to his knees, begged for mercy, and said he was only robbing him because his family was hungry. Mercy me.
