Ordinations

The Diocese of Austin ordained 5 new priests on Saturday. Three of them have a close connection with St. Mary's.

**Fr. Will Straten - is one of our Aggie vocations and a great guy. Class of 2000.

**Fr. Jonathan Raia - is a longhorn (hiss), but a great guy nonetheless. He was assigned here at St. Mary's this past year as a transitional deacon.

**Fr. Chris Downey - will be assigned here as Associate Pastor and is so excited he moved everything in almost 2 months early. He will start in mid-July officially.

Two other priests (Fr. Justin Nguyen & Fr. Uche Obikwelu) were also ordained. The ordination was standing-room only and was beautiful. Some pictures below of Fr. Will and Fr. Jonathan during the ordination:
