We have to be careful not to make environmentalism into a god or a religion. Salvation of the planet will only happen when Christ comes again. Until then, we need to take care of what God owns - not us, or the animals, the plants or any other thing. The earth is God's. He created it for our purposes, but we are to take good, responsible care of it - not try to make it into something greater than what it is.
Thinking that humans are less important that the rest of creation turns the Christian gospel upside-down.
Human beings are the height of creation, not the problem!
So, when videos that use doomsday scenarios to try and scare us into following the dogma of the radicals, I reject them.
I also follow the counsel of Paul.
creation was made subject to futility, not of its own accord but because of the one who subjected it, in hope that creation itself would be set free from slavery to corruption and share in the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that all creation is groaning in labor pains even until now; - Rom 8: 20-22
The final statement "if we give up they give up" is just plain old stupid on top of it all.
