Feast of the Immaculate Conception

From the Austin Diocese [emphasis mine]:
There have been several questions regarding the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, which falls on Monday, Dec. 8. This feast is non-transferable and is always a holy day of obligation. Mary under the title of “Immaculate Conception” is the patroness of the U.S. and the Diocese of Austin. Masses during the day, are for the Immaculate Conception; Masses after 5 p.m. on Sunday are for the Second Sunday of Advent or the feast of the Immaculate Conception; this is the pastor’s choice. Attendance at Mass can satisfy the obligation for Sunday or the feast of the Immaculate Conception, but not both. This is a bit confusing, sorry.
