Made My Day!

As most regular readers know, and definitely those who know me, I have a passion for evangelization. I talk to a lot of people about it, including my mom. A while back while discussing it, I told her that when someone comes to your door to evangelize you (e.g., Mormons, Jehovah Witnesses, etc.) it is a great opportunity to evangelize them, because they are there to talk about faith-issues. So, you know when I received this in my inbox today it made me smile:

You would have been proud of your old Mom today. I was visited by two Jehovah Witnesses and I "witnessed" to them about THE one true Church and Christ's Body and Blood.
Love,
Mom
I am proud of my mom, the evangelist!

hahahaha! Man, I have always wanted to do that, but never felt confident enough. However, I did ask a few JW's about why they don't celebrate birthdays and told them that I disagreed with this and that it wasn't biblical, that a few of the most important events in the New Testament happened during celebrations. Didn't change their minds, oh well.

I know what you mean - I too have a passion for evangelization. In fact, there are a couple telemarketers who keep calling our house despite the Do Not Call list, and I've been thinking that maybe I should just evangelize to them when they call. :)
