Jesuits To Elect New Leader

In what could determine the future of a diminishing, yet still very influential and large, religious order (The Jesuits), a vote on the new leader of the order is coming soon. Many Catholics believe it is just a matter of time before the Jesuits fade away, but I am not one of those. All of the Jesuits I have ever met are either exemplary or average. My reaction is almost always hot or cold. I think there are great elements that could be renewed in the order and my prayers are that it happens.

Please join me in prayer for the Society of Jesus.

Like them or not, they are still the largest order in the Church (almost 14,000 priests; a bit under 20,000 total members).
